We have a lime
Well, I thought the gerbil was a plum but its really a lime. It won’t be a plum until week 12. Is it just me or does a plum seem smaller than a lime? I don’t know, these fetal growth charts are a little confusing!
Today I woke up to about 3 inches of snow, but the roads are clearing now and I hope to get out and find a few “fat” pants. I am not showing yet, but I am rocking some awesome bloat action right now and the ole gut is really causing me some problems. My pants don’t fit, my shirts are too tight, and it’s just going to get worse from here!

Jessica - since you’re so skinny, you could always try the trick I used when I was pregnant (back in the pioneer days!). Use a rubber band - put it through the button hole and then around the button. Works great - stretches and keeps your pants closed but keeps you from having to wear “fat pants” too early! So happy for you guys!

Love the blog! It’s funny you are calling the baby a gerbil. We called Jack Henry “the critter” in the early stages. Then Scott started calling him “Chumley.” That stuck for a long time. I refused to wear maternity clothes for as long as possible. I just kept buying clothes that were a size bigger. That worked out great because after he was born it took a little while to get the baby weight off and it was nice to have some in-between size clothes!

can’t wait to hear more about your pregnancy journey…gigi asked me yesterday if you knew what you were having…i told her a baby…she gave me “the look” and said boy or girl…told her it was too early. she wants to know if you guys are gonna find out…don’t remember reading that if you already said it…glad you joined the bbb club - big boobs and belly
