Well, just got back from the OB and they decided to induce me tonight at around 8 p.m. Reed will likely make an appearance sometime tomorrow, so he will miss coming into this world on our 3rd wedding anniversary, but that is OK! As long as he gets here safe!

The chance of me needing a C-section is increased, though, due to his size (big!) and the fact that I am being induced, so say a little prayer that won’t happen. It’s something I am really scared of.

So, Chris and I are going to go have a nice early dinner to celebrate our anniversary and to give me some strength for what surely will be a loooooong, hard night. Labor and Delivery is already having a busy day, so we’ll need to call first to make sure they have a room for me.

So crazy to think that exactly one year ago today, we were celebrating our anniversary in Switzerland, on what we called our “last big hurrah before kids.” And, now we are hours away from being parents!

Here’s a picture of us from Oct. 1, 2007. I don’t know if we knew what we were about to get into in the next year!
