Not enough hours in the day
Where does the time go? I am not working and I swear I get so little done each day, and still end up going to bed late at night. Its mind boggling — it’s as if there is a black hole sucking up all my time. But, hopefully I will get it together by the time I go back to work in January. The most important thing is for me to absorb as much of this sweet babyness that I can while Reed is this tiny. I know it’s going to go by way too fast.
We went to the pediatrician today and Reed weighs 8 pounds, 1 ounce and is 21 inches. Last week, he was 7 pounds, 7 ounces and 20 inches. They said he is growing very well and doing a great job gaining weight. Still having some breastfeeding issues due to my shy boobs (they are inverted) so we have been trying all sorts of things to try to resolve that. For now, the shield is my breast friend, haha.

Hey Jessica,
You are right! The time goes by and you don’t even know where it went. I know that the first few weeks I really can’t remember what we did. We ate and slept and cuddled. The shield was mine friend also. I had to use it the whole time. Katie never minded though. She just turned 9 months and I can’t believe she is getting so big. Enjoy that precious angel every minute of everyday.
